One of my favorite Sonic Youth videos: Tunic (Song for Karen)....
Superstar: The Karen Carpenter Story. Directed by Todd Haynes (I'm Not There). This short film tells the story of Karen Carpenter mostly through use of modified Barbie dolls. Now illegal, Richard Carpenter hated it and basically sued to have it removed and destroyed because Haynes didn't get the legal rights to the music. Most likely, however, it's because Richard is portrayed as a controlling perfectionist and closeted homosexual. But there's always bootlegs.....
